Questions patients ask

Can a slipped disc heal without surgery?

Yes. Many slipped discs improve over weeks to months with medicines, physiotherapy and staying active. Surgery is considered when pain or weakness does not improve or gets worse.

What is endoscopic spine surgery?

It is an operation done through very small cuts using a camera, to remove the part of the disc pressing on the nerve. Many patients are up and walking sooner than after open surgery.
