How cashless admission works

  1. Bring your card

Your health card or TPA card, the policy number and a photo ID of the patient, such as Aadhaar.

  2. We send the request

The front desk sends the pre-authorisation form with the doctor’s notes to your insurer or TPA.

  3. Approval arrives

Your insurer approves an amount for the treatment. We keep you updated, and ask for more if the stay runs longer.

  4. Go home

At discharge you pay only what your policy does not cover, such as non-medical items or any co-payment.

Questions patients ask

Is cashless treatment available at Abhinav Hospital?

Yes. Abhinav Multispeciality Hospital in Lashkari Bagh, Nagpur, is empanelled with 34 insurance companies and TPAs for cashless treatment. What is covered depends on your own policy, and the front desk checks it for you before admission.

When should I tell you about my insurance?

For a planned admission, as soon as your doctor advises it, so the approval is in place by the day you come in. In an emergency, come straight in: your family can give us the card after admission and we send the request then.

What if my insurer is not on the list?

You can still be treated here and claim the cost back from your insurer afterwards. We give you the bills, the discharge summary and the reports your insurer asks for. Call the front desk first, because the list changes.

Is the whole bill covered?

That depends on your policy. Room rent limits, co-payment and items the policy does not cover, such as some consumables, are paid by you at discharge. The front desk tells you the expected amount before you go home.
